I’m Lauren Byrne, a fashion creative and artistic director in the final stage of my Fashion Communication degree, focused on shaping, defining, and communicating cohesive, value-led brand identities.
Based in London, I’ve spent the past five years exploring art, design, communication, and photography, gaining a comprehensive understanding of both fashion’s creative and business sides. I’ve designed garments, produced and styled 15+ photoshoots, written and edited content, and developed campaigns and created my own fashion brand for practice.
This practical experience has strengthened my skills in styling, photography, Adobe Suite, trend analysis, and brand storytelling. A short course at IFM on AI in fashion helped me realise my focus: artistic direction, where I can shape, define, and communicate cohesive, value-led brand identities.
These days, my time is spent honing my skills in editorial, photography and trend analysis in hopes to stay ahead of the wave. I am also preparing to begin my journey into further, specialised education in creative direction and fashion imagery, still having so much to learn.
My current final major project is revolving around a series of photographical results taken via drone and Sony A7IV with Claude Merteveux acting as a safety and tour guide leading my team, and our models into the off-piste alps, pushing my photography, styling and creative direction with a team of creatives.
